Obsession
The other day while in the car we heard a song by a band called “Cat Scientist” that evidently got saved in my XM Playlist. Apparently, it really struck a chord with Annie because upon arrival home she immediately ran in to draw a cat scientist. She then went on to sketch several more renditions. Each time we get in the car Annie has to hear that song at least 18 times. I just had to share this with you. Mike likes the song. I can’t decide if I do because I’m not too keen on rap and this sounds dangerously close to it.
I personally like this a little better, but that’s just me. You have to admit that this makes you want to dance. A least sorta.

Sorry for the lack of updates here. It’s been a bit hectic around here with illness. Annie was struck with “feber” 2 Fridays ago and didn’t start to show signs of improvement until last Wednesday after Monday and Tuesday off from school. However, it was false hope to send her to school that day because she returned home with another fever and vomited profusely that night. Mimi decided she was missing out and boiled up that night, too. The illness laid off a bit on Mimi though until yesterday and today. We’ll see what tomorrow brings. Mike has been sick, too, since yesterday. I’m sure I’ll be reporting that I’m sick as well within the next few days. That’s how things work around here.
