disney book
I’m having a photo book made of our time at Disney World. I had to order it by Friday because the company I purchased it from was offering a 25% discount. It was a lot of work to get it done by then, but I prevailed. Here’s a slideshow, so you can see what it will look like. I’m totally kicking myself though because I noticed that I forgot to include a page in the book, a page with the girls meeting Minnie Mouse while wearing their Minnie Mouse t-shirts. I worked really hard on that page:( Also disregard the numerous typos in the journaling sections. I thought I caught them all, but I guess not. Anyway, here’s the link to the slideshow. Enjoy and let me know what you think: http://snappychicdesigns.com/clients/disneybook/index.htm
I’ve officially gotten to the point where I can no longer fit into most of my regular clothes. This means it was time to give in and get some maternity clothing. Saturday turned out to be the perfect day to do this since I was picking up Mike from O’Hare, and we’d be passing by a mall that had a maternity store. I only wanted to get a few things to get through me through the next few months of summer. When I was pregnant both times there were only two styles to the way pants fit: a high-waisted over-the-belly fit and under-the-belly fit. Both styles usually were made of a cotton/spandex blend. I found that the high-waisted pants were typically too baggy for me, so I’d end up getting the under belly style. However, they were usually not that comfortable, and I kept having to hike them up. Well, the maternity clothing industry has come up with a new style that has completely revolutionized the way the pants fit. This new style is high-waisted but is made of a soft, thin, microfiber material that fits kind of like pantyhose (but much more comfortable). They are absolutely divine. Now I wish that they also made non-maternity pants this way because they are that comfortable. I ended up purchasing 2 pairs of capris, a pair of jeans, and 3 shirts. Let me tell you, I actually felt comfortable in my clothing yesterday which hasn’t happened in a couple of months.
